Larger diameter saddlerails on Tune Speedneedle ?Danne

Does the Tune Speedneedle have have thicker rails saddlerails than seats with titanium or cr-mo rails ?

If it does, does anyone know how large rails an Easton CT2 can handle (i.e. if a Speedneedle will fit a CT2) ?

I've never checked this before, but following your post I compared the rails on a Tune, an SLR and an AX-Lightness:
* Tune Speedneedle = 8.5mm x 12mm (WxH; eclipse-shaped)
* Selle Italia SLR = 7mm (D; circular)
* AX-Lightness Endurance = 7.5mm x 9mm (WxH; eclipse-shaped)

I have used a Tune on the new Easton seatpost (the EC70) and it works fine, as does the AX-Lightness. But this is not surprising -- if you keep in mind that the Tune saddle has been around for quite a while (about 5 years I believe), it probably would not have survived this long if did not work well with most seatposts, including the ever popular Easton.

BTW, I have a new Tune Speedneedle Lycra and a new SLR for sale, if you're interested (104g and 142g, respectively) .
