Any idea where I can get a frame annodized? I've seen places to get it painted, but not for annodizing.

Thanks

You need to live in or near a relatively big city. Look in the Yellow Pages under "Metal Finishing" or "Metal Re-finishing" and then start calling. Be sure to ask if they are willing to strip your frame prior to anodizing it (I'm assuming you know that ONLY aluminum can be anodized), or you may have to find someone else to strip the frame. You will have to remove ALL components, and they will likely want to bead-blast the frame to strip off the paint. The anodizing itself shouldn't be horribly expensive, but there will be quite a bit of labor involved in preparing the frame.

We once lived in Santa Clara, CA, right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Metal finishing businesses were on almost every corner. I could get steel chromed, or aluminum anodized just a few blocks from home. Cheap in those days too.
