Help, which FS bike to buy?(3 posts)

Help, which FS bike to buy?morati
Jan 27, 2003 6:40 PM
Hey Guys, I just sold my hardtail after four years. Figured I owed it to myself to at least try a FS bike for a season. My sponsor deals with Giant (NRS Air), Fisher (Sugar Team) and might be bringing in Titus (Racer-X). My question to you is, which bike would you buy if given the chance? The bike will be used primarily for x-country racing in the expert category. Thanks in advance. Morati

OK, Lets assume that the Titus is not an option since it is a *might*. I am very biased but considering you are a racer who has been using a hardtail for a good while and have probably developed hartail specific habbits I would be inclined to say that the NRS Air is for you. It provides absolutley no bob whats so ever yet will soak up those bumps when you hit them. I havent ridden the Sugar team so I cannot really comment their. All I can say is the NRS has done heaps for me, its a fantastic bike and can really handle whatever.

If the Titus becomes available and cost is ok for you, easy...TITUS. If not, then I would go with the NRS.
