| A 175gr tube?, is it too heavy? | francisco Jan 29, 2003 1:56 PM | | Hi
I just was wondering if a tube of that weight, is too heavy, I was running some of 125gr, and I don`t know if I `ll feel any diff.
Could be any advantage in durability?
It`s a Chen Shin Tyre company.
My older tubes (the one`s of 125gr) were schalwe.
Thanlks a lot

there are lots of cheap light tubes like torelli, performance, ritchey, just forget about that latex tubes, they are crap!.
happy trails and i hope it helps. |
| OK, but if it`s too light, ins`t it more propense to get snake | francisco Jan 30, 2003 3:36 AM | | bites? or pinch flats?
I mean if the walls are more thick they should be a little more resitant than the super light tubes. Is that correct?
thanks a lot!

| yes, you are correct.... | stump Jan 30, 2003 4:23 AM | | thats why i save them for race only. but i usually run my tires with at least 45psi, if you run your tires with too low pressure i think the best way is to use stans. trie to use tires with stronger sidewalls.
happy trails |
