MTB handlebar with road stem(4 posts)

MTB handlebar with road stempalmix

the question is: if I want to use a MTB handlebar with a road stem I need:

-a MTB handlebar with the middle clamp zone at 26 mm. diameter, does it exist?
-or a special shim to reduce diameter from 26 to 25.4 mm. (0.3 mm. thickness) does it exist? where to get it?

Thanks in advance :)

thank you very much!!
... the problem for me is I'm located in Spain and it would be a bit expensive to order there (that is a shop in California) ...maybe I can make myself a shim cutting out an appropriate plate...
anyway is good to know that the shim exists!

I have made them out of brass (cut from brass sheet). The softer metal works good because it will grip better than steel or AL, (plus its easier to bend and cut, and will form nicely once its clamped in).

What I did was to make it a little larger than the stem, insert it and scribe the contour of the stem all the way around and cut off the excess.
