Boone Titanium Chain Rings are back!!!nikh

After six years the Ti rings are back! A former employee of Bruce Boone is beginning to make these rings again.
I'm awaiting weights for a 32 and 42 tooth rings, I'll post them once I know and I'll try to get a pic to!
Not cheap (prices haven't changed) but certainly got the 'Bling' factor!!

Bruce did really nice work, glad to hear that the rings are back even if it's not Bruce himself doing it (as long as the quality is the same). Have any contact info for this guy?

Hope he's going to make the rear cogs too, I'd love another set of those...
Where can I sign up for custom length twisted ti cranks?Cloxxki

Those were awesme! Just saw pics of them, though.
Around the time that Bruce stopped making bike parts, I got a drawing from him, a sketch really, for super-oversized hollow ti cranks that according to his calculations should be light and strong. Maybe the new guy can go on where Bruce left off, would be way cool.

Heres what I got from Brett.......

As a matter of fact we are just starting back up. We plan to ship our first chain rings in six years next week. Reply to this email with the sizes and qty you are interested in and I will give you the prices. When you are ready to order you can go to www.boonerings.com and select ORDERING INFO from the top of the page (this is the Bruce's site for ordering wedding rings). Ignor all of the ring sizing and finishing info and just place the order in the comment section of the form and fill in the price manually. We can usually ship within a week.

Thanks for your interest in Boone Chainrings.
We hope to have a site up for the Chainrings soon.

I believe Brett is saying he is shipping his first lot of chain rings in six years i.e. there have been no chain rings produced in six years so this is the first batch!
Well thats how I read it ;-)

It's true, I haven't made chainrings or other bike parts for 6 years. I've been up to my eyeballs with titanium wedding rings. I trust Brett to do a great job with the chainrings. He has my original files and original fixture plates, so the chainrings are the real deal. These have the same hand sanded teeth, hand polished upper face, CNC cut, double steps seen in the background of the picture.
