The weight is comparable to the stock aluminum version.
It's stiffer is certain areas but has more give in others. In comparison when I grab my rear wheel and move it laterally it's stiffer, yet when you ride the bike it feels as if the suspension now is softer and more compliant. Almost as if I'm getting extra travel. |

However, I doubt it's going to be much of an issue considering the wheel direction rotates toward the closed top side of the stays. Whatever mud that gets thrown up would most likely end up there and not on the bottom side. |
