Can I use locktite on ti bolts...?dudelove

I am worried about gauling but also about loosening bolts. Does locktite also prevent gauling problems or should I stick strictly with ti prep (or other) for ti parts and check the tightness more often? Thanks.

Speaking of galling, ALWAYS USE SOME FORM OF THREAD LUBRICANT WITH TITANIUM FASTENERS!!! This can be in the form of an anti-seize compound, a moly based grease, or even a thread-locking compound. Each of these substances will form a thin boundary preventing metal-to-metal contact. This is super important when a titanium bolt is threaded into magnesium, aluminum, or titanium. If you fail to follow this advice, you may find yourself quite literally screwed!
