Cannondale's advertisement campaign about minimum weightpalmix

As probably already you know, in today's TdF stage the Saeco-Cannondale team changed the color of their jerseys as a way to attract attention to their demand to UCI for reducing the minimum required weight (6.8 Kg.) of racing bicycles.

At this page http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/innovation/legalize.html we can read: "But our Swiss friends have recently passed a ruling which limits a road bike's weight for competition..."

Imagine what would be that minimum weight if one of those "Swiss friends" would be... yes: you guessed it: Nino!!

Have fun :)
what do they complain about? their frames are heavy anyway (nm)nino

that was no more than another marketing gag.
other years Mario Cipollini had dresses that weren`t allowed which secure Cannondale some good press.now the whole team wore some black and white dresses and got punished by the cycling federation...once more a marketing gag because the audience is here and there`s lots of talk about during the TdF.
at least the Cannondale roadbikes aren`t as stupid designed as the bikes oops-now this will start a discussion:)) but that`s what i think of those MTBs.
hey nino....stump

The reason is the rider of the moment. As long as the bike doesn't fall apart it doesn't really matter for who you're riding.
Not bad for a bankrupt company. nmdirtdad

I thought I'd post this for the other curious gearheads here even though it weights about 260 pounds.

It began as a X440S and she's a blast. It's a shame it tanked the company, the bikes just needed more time and cost management.
