What splined bb/crank is a good lightweight yet stiff/durable and relatively inexpensive alternative to the 03 xt?

Anyone have any actual weights of the 175mm 03 xt crank and bb, and some comparisons? Or is there a source I can check out for I'm sure this has been asked a zillion times before.

Go to starbike.com. Click on the Weight Weenies link and they list the weights of a huge amount of bike stuff.
