Duckman, are you planning to race this weekend at Dauset trails(GAP series, GA)? If so do you have any idea what trail(s) will be used for the course? I went there this weekend with the g/f to test out the new LIGHTWEIGHT rear wheel I just built(810g), and to get an idea of the general terrain. I was completely impressed by the quality and quantity of the trail system, and even got lost at one point.

Been searching the globe(ok, just the net)for this same info, but ti no avail. Rode there last Jan where we had a hi of like 32*.

Just now..(b4 finishing this response)i called asking this very info. The course hasn't even been determined yet sorta kinda, as "they(SORBA?..per the dude at Dauset)" are coming out tomorrow to scope out the area. Some mud exits(big surprise here, eh?)7 miles per lap is whats at the website tho. 5 pro/ex, 4 ex, 3 sport, 2 grand sprt and beginner, etc etc. figure the reason why is because half the area looked to me as being on a flood plain.

Hoping Huff n Puff is left out so i can go with my shortest suspen(read lightest)setup on the nrs.

I'd reeeeeeally like to know myself, as i'm building up 2 bikes for either evidentuality. 22lb nrs(dry-ish conditions), or a 23lb hardtail(my Moab 2 is now sporting the Marathon frontend and a few more tidbits)if its muddy.
