| Dura-Ace is better than Record in all area except for | rwcs Oct 20, 2003 5:48 PM | | for the shifters-more ergo. More advantage in using Dura-Ace in term of performance, renovation design, reliability, quality, availability and value. Record are great stuff, but Dura-Ace are way better. 5time Tour De France winner uses Dura-Ace. Go Dura-Ace and Record shifters!!! Great combo. |
| You sound like you've never used or even seen Record... | divve Oct 20, 2003 11:28 PM | | ....you may prefer one or the other, but the reasons you state aside from the shifters being more comfortable are completely bogus. |
| Don't get me wrong, Records are superb stuff. After owning so | rwcs Oct 21, 2003 8:56 AM | | many bikes, you have to give DA credit for renovation and superb engineering and thinking "out of the box" in their drive train. No company can reign as leader in every aspect of components. It's nice to have many companies to drive each other to produce top notch products. This way, you can mixed and use the best component to your liking. Go Campy and Shimano!!! |
