only a few things I'd changeheatstroke

Personally :
I don't like the combo brake shifter, I am using XT 755BL, with XTR shifters.
I prefer a stiffer fork, but I am probably heavier than you. 185 lbs

The embroidery on a saddle eats through lycra. Get a saddle with a smooth finish with no embroidery.

I like the rest, but can't comment on the shock.
Looks good! Just a few things I'd change....Zonic Man

I'd look at whether or not you need 175mm cranks. Probably, honestly, 172.5s or 170s would amount to a better spin. After all, you're on a SMALL racer X.

I'd go with mavic 3.1s instead of stan's kit. Then run the Mythos tubeless with Stan's sealant. Builds a stronger wheel (stiffer rim for tubeless) and you don't have to fuss with the inner liners, which are tough, and not that durable. Consider Supercomp spokes with alloy nipples.

I'd ditch the XTR cassette, if you ride alot, cassettes wear out. XT is MUCH cheaper and same wear and shifting...go that route. Only a bit heavier.

SID? Icky. Get a fox RLT. For the .5 weight penalty, you get a much better fork, that will help you go faster in racing and trail riding.

My fiance's similarly built racer X is 23.4 lbs. Almost the same component spec as well.

Ditch the SID and run an RLT you'll be much happier
The older XTR front deraileur is alot lighter than the M960
If your'e riding a small why are you using 175mm cranks
Use an 11-32 XT cassette it will last longer and only be slightly heavier not to mention 1/4 the price
Use 3.1 hoops and ditch the rim strips, you can still run the Mythos with Stan's sealent
You could find a much lighter stem, FSA, Ritchey, Extralight to name a few
A Flite TT is just as comfortable as the Flite Gel and much lighter
Either way you'll have a nice racer, good luck.

Surely it's lighter to use 317/517 rims compared to the X3.1 which are 450g each and have an extra 50g worth of grommets each? I run X3.1's at the mo and wish my bike had come with the non-tubeless setup as I would have run Eclipse anyway, and it would be lighter.
