nino, what is your opinion of continental supersonic mtb(explorer 2.1's) and road tires?
Conti SS tires...nino

the Explorer was my favourite MTB tire for the last few years.it weighs 440-480g and is a great allrounder.
BUT i now use the Nokian NBX Lite 2.0" which grips better,is MUCH faster and the same weight.

the Conti SS road tires are the lightest clinchers.the 700x20 weighs just 140g. BUT you get low weight with low mileage.the SS does only about 600-700 miles before the carcass comes out! and it is also pretty puncture prone.there is simply not enough rubber on there.nevertheless I use it all year.it's my favourite road tire BUT you also have to inflate it to the max to get low rolling resistance.I usually ride it with 10-12 bar pressure (145-175 psi).

the Michelin Axial Pro Light is as fast and does double the mileage but it also weighs 180g.
