| Marco Righetti, Spring 2000 ring any bells? :o) | nathan.j Jan 16, 2004 9:30 AM | | Just been flicking through some old bike mags and got to the letter section of one and came across a lovely extralite picture with a letter attached. It was going on about how someone couldnt understand how a bike with a frame weight of 6.5lb could be built up into a 22lb bike, and then goes on to say 'im not obsessed about weight' :o0.
Its was signed by Marco Righetti, was it you? and was it before your weight weenie days?
Purely out of interst. :o)

| Nathan.j was it a UK or USA mag?................ | marco righetti Jan 16, 2004 2:03 PM | | I was a weight weenie in 2000 but i have never written a letter to a mag mind you i did have an extralite seatpost which snapped on me so now the only extralite part i have is the ultrastem.
was it an article about an extralite bike?
my 2001 fuel 80 frame weighs 2645 grms which is about 6 lbs roughly and my complete fuel weighs 22.40 lbs but i bought the fuel at the end of 2001 so this article is puzzleing but i've learned through the net that there are a few marco righettis in this world which does surprise me but what would the chances be that any other marco righetti would be a weight weenie mtber!!!!!!!!!!!!!
whats the mag name? |
