I'm looking at buying one but wonder if they are too "non compliant" on the small stuff for a 135 lb. rider. I want to better match my K2 Oz's rear 4.5 travel and though I've been very happy with the Look/Fournales my 45 y/o back needs added care for the upcoming season. The forks on eBay are grease port equipped but have a claimed 3.15 travel. Didn't they go to 100mm on the improved '01 forks? If so how difficult a conversion is the added travel mod?
Thanks for any advice the board can offer!

Theres a pdf file on this link for adjusting the travel @ http://www.k2bikes.com/01site/tech_forum/index.html also the manuel is there also. The file for changing the travel is 2001 VTO Upgrade Instructions.

Thanks much! I bought one-wonder how it'll compare to my Look and Crosslink?

and you'll find a long post from me titled something like "too much information" in one of the megaair fork threads.
That will be a problem with the new software..........KMan

Unless I am missing something on setting up the new forum. We will not be able to scroll down thru past post and find post listed inside of another post.
That is my main complaint with the new forum. You cannot see what has been listed inside a main post. Often, a lot of these post get off the subject and get a discussion going on another subject unrelated to the main topic. From what I can see, if this happens most people will not even know these subject or topics even exist.

Sure we will, just organise the threads differently...DeeEight

Thanks DeeEight, lots of good info-Noleen emailed me to say they "can do something" for lighter ridrs on a Mega Air but went no further. I don't know if it was from the man Clark Jones himself or not but I'd trust any suspension mod made by Clark.
