First ride(1 post)

Yesterday evening I finished my ss build project and took a spin around the block with the road gearing, Cool.
Today I went out for my first extended ride on my SS. Feels good I went to the area were I would normally ride my gearie to take some pics( will post them asap). It's about 10 minutes from my home, and I past a couple of people on gearies, single and threespeeds. I live in Holland so there are alot of single and threespeeds as they are the number one bikes that are sold, they are not suitable for terrain however.
My 36-16 gearing is a little steep on one climb, I had to walk, but the rest is doable. BTW I was riding with normal shoes on my SPD pedals, so when I'm clipped I might ride the climb. And do the rest of the local loop as well.
I'm hooked.

Richard.
