Well after 46 years of all kinds of dangerous behaviour I finally did it. Mr. rubberbones as the people in the local ER call me, finally broke something. I cracked my tailbone on Monday OUCH almost a week and it feels worse everyday,,, as luck would have it I would choose to break something that can't be fixed. It will be weeks Till I ride again but I'll be back any one want to buy a bent Flite saddle hehehehe

Sounds as if we are the same age. Have you tried riding? A few years ago when I was bike commuting to work I fractured my tailbone in 4 or 5 places. About the only thing that didn't hurt was riding my road bike. No pressure on the tail bone. Earlier this summer a failed bunny hop attempt bruised it I thought. Now months later and it still hurts I am wondering if I did not fracture it again. Sitting hurts, driving hurts, but riding does not. Anyway, good luck on a quick recovery.

True that. A couple years ago, I blew a wheelie and landed on my tailbone on asphalt. It hurt to walk and sit for several weeks, but riding was fine.
