Ebay tribulations....(3 posts)

Ebay tribulations....martini
Feb 11, 2002 4:03 PM
I kinda got myself into a corner the other day. There was a nice looking Salsa SS on ebay at a good price, and in my size even. There was about a half hour left in the auction, and I had to go to class, so I threw a bid in, knowing that I was proabbly gonna be out bid in the end. I was fine with that. I don't really need another bike, ya know? I've got this Hunter on the way, and already have a nice steel hardtail. Low and behold when I got home, there was the message, "You won!" GREAT. Now what? I told Lisa sheepishly.

She glowered at me. Then she growled. She stomped away. She stomped back.

"OK, you can have it. YOU have to pay for it though. I don't care how. But YOU pay for it." As she walked away, she said, "Sounds cool."

I love my wife! So ahhh, I gotta sell another bike. Keep an eyeout for ads in the future. And not here. I don't spam.

Ebay can be dangerous, remember that. oh, yeah, I picked it up for $350. Whole bike!

When it gets down to those final minutes Ebay can be very dangerous. (said as I log into ebay!)

Well, atleast I was able to trade steel hardtail #3 for a decent road bike!

How big of a bike might you selling? Just asking since I"m in the market for a new bike possibly. If you're a handsome man around 6'1" who likes long walks on the beach. Or is just 6'1" and ugly as hell, but maybe selling a bike for a nice price, drop me an email at pbelknap@gonzaga.edu

Thanks

Paul
