Shimano DX cogs, where to get a 20t??? (4 posts)
| Shimano DX cogs, where to get a 20t??? | Mr. Tokyo Feb 12, 2002 4:36 PM | | I looked and found 16t and 18t cogs, but no 20t. Anyone know where I can find one? |
| not made. | martini Feb 13, 2002 6:21 AM | | They only make them in 14, 15, 16, 17, 18t sizes. You CAN use an old school non-ramped HG cog though(from the 6-7 speed era). Ony thing is, you have to find one buryed in a box at the LBS to get it!

| Look again | Brad aka Tus Feb 13, 2002 5:07 PM | | The 20T offered by Paul's Comp is a freewheel (it's the only place I have seen a 20T Shimano FW) not a cog. The biggest BMX/Shimano style cog I have seen is an 18. You may be able to rig a fixed gear cog, which go up to a 22 but it would take some doing. |
