Hi Tom, just got my Afterburner crank & Orbit XL II headset in today's mail. Thanks.

Could you please tell me what spindle length is best for using the Afterburner in a singlespeed setting? Rear hub will be singlespeed specific with mtb axle width. BB shell is 68mm. Chainring will go on the spider's middle ring mounts.

thanks.

Hey Sean,

On my Monocog, I used a 103 BB. Since your ride has a 135mm rear hub, I'd recommend a 110 or even a 113mm spindle. seattletim used a 113 on his Curtlo (don't ask me why or how I remember all this crap!). See if you can experiment with a few different lengths ans I'll hook ypu up with a good deal on a Ti BB, if you like.

Thanks!
Tom

I'll toy with different spindle lengths, and think about the Ti BB in the meantime.
