At this point, my chainring is a few mm (<5) too far out. I have added washers between the chainring and the crank, but the bolts aren't long enough to add any more. Are there longer chainring bolts available out there somewhere?
I have the narrowest BB spindle I can run. |

Apr 16, 2002 11:04 AM | | yes, there are some longer ones. Any LBS that orders out of the QBP catalog can get them. The lengths in the catalog are 6mm (single ring), 8mm (double ring), 13mm and 16mm.
What's the rest of your drivetrain made up of? There might be another way if you describe the whole thing.

| move some axle spacers and redish the wheel | club
Apr 16, 2002 1:46 PM | | can't you just move some axle spacers around from one side to the other until the chainline is perfect, and then redish the wheel so the rim is again centered? that's the preferred method. |
