| New Bike: $47 frame part II | anon Apr 16, 2002 11:40 PM | | | Mission accomplished, bike's together but I haven't had a chance to ride it yet except a quickie around the block. Can't wait to get it dirty tomorrow. I'm riding even if it's a monsoon outside. | | I ended up with a 'Zoke on the front. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or go back to rigid. All the other parts are off my old bike. The chain tensioner is a Rohloff and I'm running two rings (34 and 28) in front with a 15 in back. Makes it better for commuting duties and easily ridable on the tight trails without dragging out the tools.

| NICE!! | jjsinglespeed Apr 17, 2002 1:38 AM | | Looks great, where did you say you got that frame? I'd like to know more about the Rholoff too. I got a Cannoncreak that I would like to go s/s with, I like the dual chainring idea. |
| It's from airbomb.com.... | anon Apr 18, 2002 12:12 PM | | ...the Rohloff is from webcyclery and actually came off of my Cannondale that I just retired, bent frame. I'm adjusting to the new frame as it's heavier and the geometry is completly different. But so far so good. Seems like a decent frame and for the price you won't hear any complaints from me.

| Pretty! | DAS Apr 17, 2002 7:47 AM | | Nice rig. I'm up for another mudbath. Maybe Friday afternoon? I just need to figure out how to get my brakes to work in this swampy soaked underwater world we call Seattle. |
| I'm down with that... | anon Apr 17, 2002 9:29 AM | | ...I'm going out this afternoon on a maiden dirt (mudd) voyage. Rode to school on the road this morning and got very wet.
Welcome to Waterworld!(Seattle)
Let me know when and where you want to meet.
