Newbie question - What to buy?Greg Goode

Any recommendations?

I'd like a no-suspension, fat-tube singlespeed with wheels and tires for the road. I usually ride a fixed gear track bike (for 12 years now), but my knees are objecting to the backpedalling motion. So I'd like to go to a freewheel while keeping the one speed. All ideas appreciated!

P.S. I live in NYC.
I like the Il PompinoGinz

I dig this bike. A while ago, I'd have scoffed at the v-brake bosses. Now, I'd like to throw a set of canti's on there and beat on that thing. It's about the same price as a surly crosscheck. It has clearance for fat tires as well.
