could i make a ss bike with a azonic-ds1 frame?
it has rear facing dropouts and a disk brake mount.
can i use a disk brake on a ss bike?

Yes you can use the Azonic DS1 as a singlespeed. The geometry is very dual-slalomey, so you will need a 100mm fork. The disc brake mount is there, but on the Azonics I have seen you will need to remove the brake caliper to remove the wheel because the caliper blocks the disc from sliding out backwards.

An eccentric bottom bracket bike is the way to go if you ar using a disc, and if you are riding more XC you may want to get a more XC oriented frame.
