| Death of a daulie...Birth of a Two Circles | TKH_SS Jun 27, 2002 12:31 PM | | Finally. Built up my first SS and had my first ride. Stripped all of the parts from my 4Banger and built up a Two Circles. I don't need no stinking dual suspension. Check her out in all her glory.
Had my first single speed ride. 30+ on the South Yuba kicked my arse. Hills seem so much larger with one gear. But by the third ride I noticed the different SS riding style. Picking new lines on old trails cuz I wasn't worried about gear selection. Holding speed where I'd usually brake. Damn this is fun.
Yo Dr. Jones and Crazy Mike. This is one sweeeeeet bike. Obviously fast on the climbs. Surprisingly fast on the descents. Nice loooong top tube and short stays. Just seems to float over everything. Actually feels as smooth as my Ti HT. Quite a looker if you asked me. This bike rocks. You guys did a great job. |
| Nice ride! | shiggy Jun 27, 2002 12:59 PM | | 30 miles for your first SS ride? You are a brave man! Welcome to the SS fold. |
| Nice ride! | TwoCircles Tim Jun 27, 2002 1:09 PM | | He's training for the creampuff - and I'm tring to talk him into doing it on the SS.
Todd - looks really good built up. I do like those decals on the black frame. I prefer a less flashy bike, and yours is very stealth. Good job on it. And you really didn't need that dualie anyway. |
