Anybody use Avid Full Metal Jacket...82%bodyfat

cable housing? I need to recable my roomates D.I.S.S and I am thinking the FMJ's might be a good choice. For those not familiar with Avid FMJ, it is a stainless steel tube that runs from the disk brake in 400mm lengths. Looks to be better than normal cable casing.
I use it and like itshiggy

The tube is used for the straight runs and normal housing is used where it needs to bend. Works best if you run your brakes right-front. I replaced the supplied cable with Teflon coated cables.
I'm using it front and rear2melow

anytime you have the opportunity to reduce friction, brakes feel better.

Avids are sweet brakes, they are even sweeter with Full Metals installed. Go for it.
Can you use those with ECC or an adjustable travel fork? (nm)offroadie

What is that color called?
Thanks. It's call Silver Prismatic2melow

And it is a mixture of three different PPG colors. In the shade it looks like a silver finish, but take it into the sun and it plays mind games on you...
Life is better with right/front left/rear brakingclydsdal
