No, not that war, silly, the other one... The European-based one that you lot were late to last time...
Yep, the Singlespeed Euro Champs are happening in Thetford Forest in the UK on June 7/8th 2003 and it'll give the Germans a chance of getting their own back on UK soil.
Our good pals, the Jerries, hosted the event in 2002 in true germanic style, with lots of lager, some great retro singlespeeds and good, clean fun.
This year, the Brits are returning the favour and hosting the Euro Champs alongside the UK Singlespeed Champs (9th year running, which must make it the longest running national singlespeed champs..). There are many of the 2002 committee promising to come on over from Germany, along with French, Belgians and the odd Swiss rider to keep things neutral.
So, if you're in the area, going to be passing or just fancy coming over specially, we'd love to see you...

We promise to have some more stuff online on ggbc.de asap - in English that is! We already translated the 10+1 Commandments - you should go and check it out even in German! The picture shows you what Chipps really looks like - at least we hear he walks on water!

So if you need any help on the Continent - that doesn't include the UK because they don't want to be European and Chipps rules there anyway - you simply write to me ... I rule the continent!
