Feb 1, 2003 10:39 AM | | Well, the tubing is cut and ground to shape (after several hours behind a Dremel tool), and the frame is ready to head off to Scott Quiring at Quiring Cycles for welding next week. Here are a couple pics of the completed jig setup, as well as a mocked-up bike shot. Once welding is completed, it'll be off to the powdercoater.
I also keep an ongoing "log" for the project on my BMX tandem page.
For those who haven't a previous post from me about this project, it's for my daughter (although it'll be a couple years before she'll be able to ride it). It's also small enough that my wife could ride on front with my daughter on the back.
