~th anual Strong Arm Velo swapmartini

Just got back from the swap hurlio and GeneO threw together. The usual suspects showed up, them being messengers, Q (and ex-Q) folk, and various associated cycling folk from the Minneapolis Community.

My table-o-goodies I was tring to off-load. For the first time, I actually broke even! Sold a couple cassettes (don't need those any longer), a crap load of 26" tires(don't need those either!) a Ti bar, and a stem. I bought some clothes and a Maah Daah Hey map(Loren from Dakota Cyclery made the trip from Bismark!).

One of the most intersting things there was the VooDoo Canzo that Jon from Kenwood brought in. Still for sale. $300. I know theres a few who've been asking about the URT SS concept. Here's your chance to find out folks! Ask me and I can get you in contact with Jon. I rode this a while back. If you're into rough terrain, this may be your bike!

Also two items that really struck me. One being utterly superfluous, the other, simply stunning for the thought that went into it. The stunning one is the White Ind. Freewheel. WOW. What a nice piece of work.

And the other. A set of Mini Phil hubs. SO freakin' cute! If you call a bike part cute that is...utterly not needed, but wouldn't you love to have these as a paper wieght on your desk....

those are cute!weather

Did the purple cook bros. cranks go for, Martini?
I am hitting the Seattle Bike Swap in two weeks, would love to find a set of those for low $$$!

$70 or so. They were newer, hardly ridden and 180mm. They were, however, the super svelt ones, so if you're over a buck 70, they were pretty flexxy. If you want them, I can get you the guys email.

Hey, Marty,

I just bought that Salsa seat and bar brandnew!

Why were you trying to sell the Kona, or was it just there to show off?

Does that canzo have a custom steel reartriangle? Seeing it makes me want to get my 20.5" CanzoEsp back to riding form. Maybe with rigid 29" front, maybe converted to SS. Just because I can. Heck, maybe the chainstays even allow me to run it tensionerless :-)
