| nice post! So how'd the Lefty hold up to the torture test? NM | Hollywood Feb 3, 2003 8:49 AM | | |

| Lefty and drops... | terminaut Feb 7, 2003 10:20 AM | | The plastic internals of the Lefty weren't really designed for doing drops, so on the first 3-footer I did they decided to puke their guts all over the red rock. Yup - the whole upper lockout/spacer mechanism pushed through the opening on the top! Anyways, I've corrected the problem with a custom steel piece that should hold everything in place nicely.
Other than that, the on-the-fly compression/rebound adjustments were outstanding for the changing terrain. |
| Does anyone else feel inadequate... | Festively Plump Feb 3, 2003 10:29 AM | | when they see Term sticking those HUGE drops? Great shots Term! Great looking bike and by the looks of it great skills to match! |
| try... | Hollywood Feb 3, 2003 10:40 AM | | going riding with him on his HUFFY and not being able to keep up. :( |
| Beautiful ... | GlowBoy Feb 3, 2003 12:01 PM | | That's some great scenery. You've got those us who live in colder climates drooling and anticipating the arrival of summer.
But then again, we get to play in the mud all winter! :-) |
| I'm green with envy... | francis Feb 3, 2003 2:41 PM | | Arizona is one of the best places to ride. I can't wait to go back!! Thanks for the pics.
High fives, Raymond |
| Awesome -- thanks for sharing | Sparty Feb 3, 2003 8:39 PM | | I feel vicariously warmer and dryer already! (My buddy Justin and I went on a slushy 20 miler on Sunday -- we 'bout froze!) Looks like great riding where you were, though. Must be fun to camp out in February...

| One more picture taken by Dan... | terminaut Feb 7, 2003 10:12 AM | | Dan is new to digital cameras and caught the shot after I'd already landed the huck, but the background scenery is pretty awesome regardless.
