| thrown by the hoss | gpsser Mar 29, 2003 11:49 AM | | got kicked off the fixie commuter yesterday, right in front of school. Miss-judged the transition to the sidewalk and washed out the back wheel. Needless to say, I hit the sidewalk real hard, and I had my jersey unzipped cause it was hot. Got pretty good rash across my chest, my right knee and a small mark on my chin, not to mention a bruised hip and ego, since I did it in front of another cyclist. |

| Nice! you fixie guys are hard core... | gpsser Mar 29, 2003 1:07 PM | | gonna bail on riding on sunday. Skids are cool. The scabs on the knee aren't bending well, and it hurts like hell to have a shirt on right now (shredded nipple, ouch). |
| Man did the same thing last week. Went to set up my bunny hop | 242 Barham Mar 29, 2003 5:51 PM | | up onto the curb. Tried to coast and up and over. Was wearing my eggbeaters so the bike followed me. Did not crack my helmet but put a pretty good dent in it(thanks Giro). Left enough meat on the sidewalk to feed a small 3rd world countrys Army for a week. I kept saying in my head " Dumbass, keep pedaling".
