| two circles frame: question for those who have ridden one | just some dude May 25, 2003 1:28 PM | | looking for feedback from people who have ridden one for a bit..
I am 6ft/195lbs and would be riding it on smoother hardpack places, nothing real rough, have a nice FS for that..
would be running Mutano 2.4s, Maxm carbon post/bar and a rigid fork
I would like to hear from actual riders rather than "it's aluminum so yeah, it's going to beat you up" comments from people who haven't ridden THIS frame
thanks

| here's mine.... | mtnbykr© May 25, 2003 2:06 PM | | I think they ride nice. w/ the fat tires you'd be using, it will be a very capable bike, even in the ruff stuff. i'm running 2.35 kendas, easton carbon bar, thomsom seatpost and a bomber fork. w/ a rigid fork, i'd run a bigger front tire. the 2circles frames are stiff but that helps put the power to the ground...

| It'll only be as rough as you build it up. | Brandon May 25, 2003 5:21 PM | | With the carbon bar and big tires it won't be rough at all. The components and tires have far greater impact than frame material. And yes I have ridden one for a short distance it was a very quick and light bike but you can build it up any way you like. |
| Two Circles... | speed-chump May 26, 2003 3:16 PM | | I've ridden mine in the Ouachita Challenge, a couple 12 hour
races, a couple singlespeed races, and all over the southeast.
I run 2.4 Mutanoraptors as well... I run front susp. though.
Did a 72 mile day on it last weekend in Texas...
How does it ride? Like sex. It's wonderful. I love it. NOT
harsh... its springy ang light and lovely.

Check out Sofa King as well, while you are looking... good guys
and sweet bikes.

| S'up Charles? | speed-chump May 26, 2003 5:14 PM | | Comfort was great man... I'm there next year.
Definitely see you guys at 24 hours of Rocky Hill, if not
before... Bump and Grind, maybe?
Made my way up to Arkansas this weekend to the Unofficial US
Singlespeed Championships.... That was a blast. You guys in
TX should keep an eye out for it next year. Those Arkansas
folks put on a real nice race.
I'm sure somebody will post about it here in the next couple
of days.

| stuff | icegeek May 27, 2003 2:00 PM | | Uh, that'd be the Womble Trail, chaz. Sweet. Then we got soft and did the nearby chunk of the Ouachita Trail on gearies. Fortunately for the O. Challenge riders, the Challenge does very little of the O. Trail. It's stout, let me tell you. Zak could probably do it though. |
