May 27, 2003 6:21 AM | | The ORANGE single speed cap is a backup for the green one as they both match the paint scheme of the frame (see pictures of the headtube in my full post about the CRB) and it is just a matter of time before the green one gets stolen since the bike will be locked up on the streets of NYC.
The blue "temp gauge" and the silver "gas gauge" for the Fuji road bike have been put on hold in favor of the black "my other bike is a single speed" cap since it matches the stem color.
Anyway, I will contact you off-line becasue I may want to see if you have a trade-in or trade-up program. I think I may need more single-speed top caps since they are most vaunerable to theft and the temp and gas gauge will probably never get used.
Also, as soon as you have a "Fixed Gear - Less Gears - More Beers" top cap I will build up a surly stemroller for that one. It seems that the future of my bikes will get built around top caps and not the other way around!
