| re: question about pace rc31 vee brake adaptors | Tendon May 27, 2003 6:17 PM | | You need to get the Pace V-Brake Adaptor, they cost around $50.00 I think. With It you can run 26 or 29 in wheels. |
| Neat... | terminaut May 27, 2003 6:45 PM | | Is that a Ti Fat running as a 29"-er? What are you running in back? I've also got a first-year Ti Fat (not to be confused with my Fat Ti) but it's still waiting for its day in the sun. |
| Neat... | Tendon May 27, 2003 7:00 PM | | I run a 29 front, 26 rear. The 29 in the front rides better than a 26 |
| i'm also runnin' a pace rc31 with Vs... | kam May 27, 2003 7:41 PM | | i used to run discs and switched to v-brakes (from the xt/xtr hydro combo to a set of avid ultimates and proshift billet levers and metawire). although this v-brake set up is the sweetest i have ran awesome power and and modulation), i defintaely am going to switch back to disc brakes(i had a brain fart!). in fact, i am ordering another set of xt/xtr hydro discs tomorrow.
so...i'll have a set of avid ultimates and proshift levers not to mention the v-brake mounts for the pace to sell in the near future...if you're intersted you can email me at kamATsinglespeedDOTnet. also, i have a 2002 pace rc31 and it's my understanding that the 02 and 03 both use the same mounts. also, i thin whom ever sold you the fork should be able to sell you the mounts, they are about $40US if i remember right.
cheers! |
