How often do you pull yours out and clean/grease it? Perhaps the answer could be incorporated in to the SS FAQ's?

I've got a set-screw type (two circles).

I greased it upon installation, and haven't
touched it 4 months.

No problems.

Just kidding... I greased mine with a light film of blue waterproof wheel bearing stuff. Every time I pull it out to do maint. I end up just putting it back in without touching it. No slipping or creaking... Both my bikes have the bushnell setup....

For a heads-up, WD-40 works wonders for EBB creaking...nmBilly
