Curtlo owners, please read...LiteSpeed

I just noticed a dent on my drive side chain stay. It appears that it was purposely put there, but my chain stays on all my other bikes do not have such a dent.

If you own a Curtlo, is your drive side chain stay like this? I didn't know if this is something that Doug does for clearance. I am waiting for him to reply, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

If it looks like it was put there on purpose, not to worry. It's called a "crimp" and is found on many frames, both road and mountain, to increase chainring clearance (external crimp) or tire clearance (internal crimp).
it had me worried.. thanks for the clarification <nm>LiteSpeed
