Anyone ride a Titus Riddler SS?

Looks to be a good versatile bike for the money. Not too many reviews though. Any folks got any pics or feedback? I am now riding a SS beater that I love, but have the SS bug now so upgrading is not too far down the track!

Cheers from Japan!
two thumbs up from me!slowSSer

love mine- extremely versatile with the interchangable dropouts. rides like a Ti frame (to me at least)

hmm. lets see if I can dig up a pic or two...

first pic shows the latest version of my drivetrain with a sufferring.

next pic, while a crap pic, shows the whole bike. obviously, I no longer have the red cranks. I kinda went full-zuit with this bike, with king hubs and all sorts of nice things. recenly put a titec hellion bar on for some extra width/leverage.
thanks!oyaji

I will definitely pick a different colour just so I dont appear to be a SINGLE WHITE MALE (ref to the movie, not trying to offend any majority groups ;). Probably not too much chance of us meeting, either.

How does the price of the riddler frame compare? I get the feeling a lot of the SS frames discussed here are worth a frightening amount of money. Titus has them at 10% off ATM on their website.

frame cost me 700 US bucks. got it from south mountian cyclery in phoenix az as titus doesnt exactly sell customer direct- or atleast they didnt when I picked mine up.

Family is Onomishi Japan, were abouts are you from? Next visit I'd like to take a bike over where are the good trails? Give us a call, or email. and we could hook you up with a riddler. They are a very nice ride.

Hey!

I live in Shizuoka prefecture, literally (I kid you not!) on the slopes of Mount Fuji. We have found a bit of good riding near here, but also know of a heap of great stuff near Nagoya. I would love to be hooked up with a Riddler, but cant afford to think about it for another two months. I will try to look up Onomishi. And I will defintitely drop you an email. Do you get over here often?

There is a shop that does one-speeding in Nagoya.

Ken-

Are you really a middle-age man?

Hee hee hee, no not quite middle-aged yet, but am working on the grey hairs and the expanding waistline. Gotta ride more! I am 28, but the reason I chose that name was that I have been riding MTB for fourteen years, which I think makes me a bit of an old-timer in the mountain bike world. Also didnt think too many ppl would work out what it meant!

Onomishi is in the Hiroshima prefecture, we visit everyother year, not as often as I'd like. 04 we are scheduled to fly back, do not know for which season yet. The furthest north we went was to Toyko, then back to Kyoto to see some friends.
