Road bike on the trail(4 posts)

Road bike on the trailrudy

The thread about the track bike caught my eye. Load on some 32mm cross tires and just ride trail. I watched a buddy on a track bike with 40 mm tires ride the trails of Flagstaff, AZ.

Ginz, when you get your Quickbeam tell me how you're liking it, and be sure to chase down the dualies, hard tails, and singlespeed mtbs.

I've run mine on the trail like that. Ritchey 35 Psycho-cross tires mounted up, 42x21 fixed. Lots o' fun.
oh yes, singletracking with the road bikeclub

occasionally on a busy summer weekend, I like to take out the road bike with fat sewups for a little singletracking. It really messes with the minds of the Texass tourists on their rental rockhoppers

After my huge tantrum, it looks like the Quickbeams are only offered down to 54cm. Wayyyy to big for me. I need a 48-50.
