So I totalled my Dimension Disc forkAesop Rock

went out for a little trail ride on the newly built up Gunnar SS, ride through a ditch with a rut on the last leg of the ride and bent the heck out of the fork. I'll try to get pics up, but it's ridiculous. Out of control even.

Do you think they would warranty it? I guess I'll be getting a suspension fork after all. Didn't think I would have to worry about it and I kind of liked the rigid but oh well. So, hmmmmm Psylo, Vanilla, or MXR? decisions, decisions.

..dimension fork and it's holding up great. Jumps, wheelie drops, rock gardens, etc. I have stacked it more than a few times and it just begs for more. Maybe you got a bad one, I'd like to see some pics.

Best of luck!

With a stronger fork you may have totaled the frame. Try another rigid. If you have never ridden a rigid fork off road (or it has been a long time) you need to learn new riding skills. Just plowing into things is not an option.
I wouldn't say I was plowingAesop Rock

i'm actually semi-swift on bikes through our constant rocky terrain here. that's why i'm suprised it held out for everything, then coming out of a trail it finished at this reall steep ditch, so steep I couldn't pull my front wheel up in time. so I decided just to ride through it at speed and there was a rut at the bottom, not big at all, but I guess big enough LOL. this sucks, I hope they warranty it.
I guess we have a different definition of "plowing"shiggy©®™

with this description I'd expect anything to break. a real steep ditch without being able to pull up at the bottom to ease the transition, sounds like a pile driver right into the other bank. you didn't get hurt too bad did ya?

you'll be real lucky to get it warranteed, methinks ya put it beyond its design specifications. again, just from the description you have given.

My dimension fork has been thru lots, nary a problem.
