Nov 17, 2003 5:08 AM | | That Montare is one of the best climbing bikes ever made. I loved the way mine handled. But that design is prone to seat tube breakage just below the chainstays. Perhaps that frame is a later one, supposedly they reinforced the seat tube. Every Montare my shop sold broke.
Might be better to just hang the frame as art.
