Yeah, it looks like he sawed the front off of a BMX bike. Most municycles I've seen pictures of use wide 24" rims and ginormous downhill tires. It seems like the bigger the wheel diameter, the smoother the ride, but also the higher the "gear". Either way, checkered Vans are for the truly core.

I wish I could rent a muni for a month or so, just to check it out.
