What is the equivalent cog combination for 29-inch wheels that will emulate the 34-18 I am currently running with my 26-inch bike.

Huh?

Thanx.

The formula is...

front / rear * wheelsize

For example,

34 / 18 * 26 = 49.11111111111111111088 gear inches
yeah aosty's got it, why guess or estimate, be exact nmclub

Simple! When going from 26" to 29", drop it by 10%GlowBoy

That's about 2 teeth bigger in back, or 3-4 teeth smaller in front.
