Jan 13, 2004 6:26 PM | | I think the new message board was made for computer geeks that like to post little emotion icons and like to spend a lot of time in front of a computer and not ridding.
Definetly not made for single speeders. See, I dont have time to go to every freaking "thread". In this "old" forum I can search things faster. Also, the new board is slower than pushing a 42/11 gear on a steep climb.
Does anyone feel the new messageboard is unnescesarily complicated?

The new forum is a step into the 90's, it is simply the standar in the BB indusstry, no more...no less. Yeah maybe I'm an internet geek, but not anymore than you are a bike geek...admit it. |

Jan 13, 2004 9:47 PM | | It is not longer has tech support and has many back end issues that cannot be fixed. I am not too fond of the new format myself but it is growing on me.
It helps to view each topic in the "threaded" view. That way all of the posts are not shown at once (it may load faster) and you can see the structure of the thread and what posts you may want to read. Still not the same, but it is closer.
If you still have a speed issue go into "my account" and set your preferences (under "options"?) to not show avatars, signatures and/or attachments. |
