Jan 13, 2004 11:57 PM | | Tuesday, Jan 13, the new forums went down unexpectedly from 4pm to 11pm.
It was caused by our error as our head engineer spilled milk on the database machine :)
Every effort was made to ensure every post and every user profile was recovered. To recover the data safely, we had to upgrade to the latest version of the software. It has some cool new features and we lost some of our old look and feel. We'll be sorting all this out in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, everything's back up and we apologize for the inconvenience during this beta period.
