Woodman carbon boosterJeff M.

Has anyone tried one of these? I've previously used a Tektro Aluminum booster which seemed to do nothing, seems like carbon would work better. Lighter to :). Any thoughts?

Have you looked at the Shimano carbon booster? That would also do the job very well. I don't know what the cost is for either though.
Thanks and...Jeff M.

I have looked at the shimano but it's nearly double the weight 32g vs. 62. g and $5 bucks cheaper. I've heard the shimano one works quite well, but it is only for v-brakes. Also even for v-brakesthe woodman is lighter, cheaper, and looks cooler IMO. So if it does the same job why not? Then again if it fails to perform (there's nothing more pointless than a flexy brake booster) I'll go with Shimano. (Depends a bit on which brakes I use (see my post above). For those of you who haven't seen the Shimano booster here it is. hopefully this works :)
