Are these rims good and if so, where could I buy one. I live in BC, Canada. They look like good rims!

Thanks

can't tell you how good or bad they are, but why not just buy a DX32/BMF? Likely a similar weight and the DX32 has been proven to be a nice rim. It's also only 3mm (me thinks) narrower than the Monty.

You can get probably get either rim from Ken @ thetrialsinshop

well the monty rims are much lighter than the alex rims. similar width. but the monty is wayyyyyy weaker. and not only is it weaker structurally it is also a softer aluminum which makes it easier to dent. and its also 130 dollars canadian vrs 50 bucks canadian for the alex rim. i got the alex on my monty and haven't had any problems.

if you still wan't another alternative, Tioga makes a rim that is 36mm wide and quite light at 580gr or there abouts. Just grind the sidewall to get a good braking surface. Cambria has them going for cheap
Or dont grind the sidewall, Jeff doesnt. NMryan%
