learning some trials moves... whats the next step?FM or MF?
Aug 18, 2003 1:30 PM
hey guys, I'm sure I'm not the first with this sort of post... I browsed a bit but maybe someone can help me out.

I've mastered some basic trials skills but I'm not sure what I should work on next. Here's what I can do now:

-trackstand forever
-can hop and trackstand at the same time w/brakes on.
-can do 360's etc using above technique (wicked for switchbacks!)
-can do pedal-kicks / wheelie drops, up to 4' to flat.
-getting better at log-rides & skinnies.
-1' vert bunny hop from trackstand.

So, it seems like I have the basics down with that trackstand/hopping deal, which I picked up a few years back and I've gotten pretty solid at it. Where from here though?

I think the next thing to move up to would be Jap slaps, those are what i've been working on. Also side hops are a good thing to practice, i'm still working on those too. and to mix it up wheelies and manuals are fun to practice (i can't really do either of those well)

Find a skatepark and you'll have lots of fun and new moves to practice. Trust me! me and my friends are always there.(Im still a beginner so I have poor techniques but I still have fun).
