| New Bike New questions | PalyPlayer Sep 3, 2003 7:31 PM | | So I have finally decided that my close to 40 pound unbreakable Jack Flash Classic has to go(*tear*) Only close to 40 pounds thanks to hook worms front and back. I've learned many trials techniques on this bike most from it's sub 35lb days before I had to retire my Z1 and before the 3 piece cranks. Pedal kicks, side hops, track standing for hours, drops after a quick bursts slowly translated through my lx eventually xt hubs, nose picks, 180s off, various nose spin combinations, and even the occasional hop to bash gaurd. Indeed I believe that this bike has given me a great start to hopefully and even greater trials career. Now I come to my question, what bike could possibly fill this void and help me forget my last bike? I'm looking for something that is trials specific but can take a beating, maybe a new jack flash, or a zebdi, or maybe a urban echo? What cranks would best fit my needs bonz, rs7, monty, truvativ, or maybe the ever so newbie crank fsa power pro? I would really appreciate any advice you can give me. and a final note I'm keeping most parts from my last bike except the frame, fork and crankset(planet x goliath), but I'm keeping my wheels, how well will a dx32 with a sun ringle hold up? thanks
sincerely,
Mr. Player |
