basically when you start you need to use your rear brake until you find the "sweet spot". what you wanna do is lean back (not pull up(, keep your butt over the rear tire, when you feel like you're going to go over backwards, tap or feather your rear brake to bring you forwards again. Keep doin this and trying to balance w/o the brake and eventually you'll be doin it brake free. good luck!
